Ah, Berlin… So cold, and grey, and wet, yet so charming in its own way. From the childish wonders of the Naturkunde museum to the hip grunginess of Kreuzberg I revelled in the buzzing energy of this delightful city and took to its street-food scene with gusto. Without any doubt the best kebab of my life. Vau offered the perfect refined counterpoint to the currywurst of the day before, and made me feel like I’d just stepped into the set of ‘Mostly Martha’, while the Martin-Gropius-Bau galleries’ contemporary treasures (and its mouth-watering bookshop, pictured above) left a lasting impression. Without a doubt a city to visit again and again!
